In Serreta, Terciera, Azores, Portugal, there is a massive staircase that takes you down to a little platform overlooking a giant cliff. Far below you are powerful breaking waves that crest above the abysmal depths of the Atlantic Ocean.
Why is this spot a local favorite? Fishing. I have no idea how the fish doesn’t fling itself off the hook on that huge climb it has to make to reach the clutches of the fisherman, but they all had buckets full of fish!
