Galley Almost Complete!

It has been a lot of work which has given me little time to tend to internet activities, but the galley is finished (except for the tile backsplash, we haven’t found tiles we like yet)!
To accompany the new galley, I also created two drop in butcher block cutting boards and two butcher block trivets.
The cutting boards are great because if anything bleeds or drips, it goes right into the sink. The trivets are handy because we can use them to rest hot pots on or for extra cutting board space.
Everything is glued together with Titebond 3, a waterproof wood glue, so we don’t have to worry about the boards delaminating because they got left with standing water on them or anything like that.
It was a lot of work, time, and effort, but now the wood is polished (all the way up to 2000 grit) and then oiled.
Now all that is left to do is get out there and use it for our adventures!
